Cancellations

No cancellation fees apply if the cancellation is made within 48 hours prior to the starting time of the service. If unsuccessful or cancelled during that period of time the service will have to be paid in full. Any modifications on pick up locations or time will need to be notified to us at least 24 hours prior to departure.

Luggage space is limited; when you make the reservation please let us know the correct number of people and if they carry surfboards so that we can be prepared. This will help us provide a better service and the costumer will have a much comfortable ride.

However rare, Mely Tours Transportation Services reserves the right to cancel any reservation and fully refund any deposit and cannot be held liable. Circumstances that can cause the cancellation of a reservation are as follows:

1. Clients endanger themselves or the driver, excessive inappropriate behavior, verbal or physical abuse of the driver or other passengers, non payment and damage caused by clients to any property of Mely Tours Transporation Services. Cancellations caused by any or all of the foregoing does not relieve the client from full payment of services
2. A flight is cancelled. In the event that your flight to Costa Rica is cancelled by the airline, we will not charge you for the van service; the service would be for the next day. If the client won’t show up 50% of the service would be charged.
3. Mechanical problems Mely Tours reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to make alternate arrangements in the event of a mechanical problem or accident to complete the trip

We provide private charter van services, which means the service won´t be shared with any other passengers.
